HT IP Law Firm proudly celebrated its 30th Anniversary (Pearl Jubilee) today, marking three decades of dedicated service in the field of Intellectual Property law. The grand ceremony was held at the Inya Ballroom (1st Floor) of the Meliá Yangon Hotel from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The milestone event was attended by distinguished government officials, prominent legal professionals, and esteemed clients, reflecting the firm’s deep roots and leadership in Myanmar’s legal community.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome from the Master of Ceremonies, MC Thant Lay, who invited guests to take their places for a day that blended formal recognition, legal scholarship, and cultural celebration.
Opening and Keynote Addresses
The ceremony was officially opened by U Thein Aung, Co-Founder & Senior Partner of HT IP Law Firm, who delivered the welcoming remarks. He reflected on the firm’s journey since 1995 and emphasized its commitment to protecting innovation in Myanmar.

Celebration and Entertainments
Following a series of commemorative photo sessions which included IP central committee members, IPD officials, legal experts, and the HT IP family guests were treated to a Documentary Video chronicling HT IP’s 30-year evolution.
A unique highlight of the morning was the performance of the “Intellectual Property Song,” composed by U Thein Aung (Kaung Pyait Aung) and performed with a creative dramatization by the talented HT IP team members. This was followed by an address from U Aung Khine Oo, Managing Partner, who shared the firm’s future vision and reaffirmed its role as a leader in Myanmar’s IP landscape.
The afternoon featured a celebratory luncheon accompanied by traditional dance performances, including the “Day Woot Saya” dance (Music: Gita Sarso Ko Thet Oo; Vocal: San Yay Moe) and the “Let Pan Pwint Kauk” dance (Music: Bo Kalay Tint Aung; Vocal: Pan Hsu Pyae Kyaw).
The event also included a heartfelt Lucky Draw session. Prizes for numbers 10 through 7 were drawn by Daw Soe Moe Khine (wife of the late Co-Founder U Htein Linn Oo), and prizes for numbers 6 through 4 were drawn by Daw Myat Thanda (wife of Co-Founder U Thein Aung). The final top three prizes were drawn by Managing Partner U Aung Khine Oo and Senior Partner U Thein Aung.
Closing Remarks
As the event drew to a close, U Kyaw Thu, Managing Director of Classic Home Co., Ltd., shared a commemorative message, followed by the concluding remarks of gratitude delivered by U Khin Oo, Senior Executive of HT IP Law Firm.
